This documentary explores how SAEL students and staff explored their own relationship to living on unceded Nisenan land. It shows a project which evolved from its initial focus: a letter writing campaign advocating for the restoration of Federal Tribal Recognition status for the Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan tribe. It looks at what it means to work in solidarity with a community, and how to listen to and amplify the voices of those affected by injustice.
